We once received six documentaries about bees in the same season. All six were excellent films, and each deserved an audience. But we are not a bee festival. We could not reasonably program six documentaries covering similar territory without allowing one subject to overwhelm the rest of the lineup. The Puerto Aventuras International Film Festival is proud to announce the five Fall Bi-Monthly Award winners of Season 4. These films join the five Summer Bi-Monthly winners announced earlier this season, bringing our first group of automatic Official Selections to ten. Five additional winners will be announced following the Winter Bi-Monthly round in November, completing the 15 early selections that will enter our annual program ahead of the Regular Deadline.
