BEST INNOVATIVE CULTURAL STORYTELLING, BEST SOUND DESIGN - DOCUMENTARY FILM

Synopsis:

A short documentary featuring an Indigenous community wellness strategy  that braids cultural and spiritual knowledge systems through a  trauma-informed lens. The film explores the experiences of Indigenous  and South Asian yoga teachers and learners gathered for the first time  in Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw territory to celebrate and share our collective  (re)connections to their bodies communities, and the land through the  practices of yoga and language reclaimation.
