As hurricanes and droughts in the Caribbean region have become more frequent and devastating, only mangroves and coral reefs can stand against these events, saving lives and property. Unfortunately, climate change and human activity are weakening these ecosystems. Will coastal communities and scientists be able to save them before it’s too late?
